Cambridge Women's Resources Centre
As the only surviving ‘women-only’ community space in Cambridge, CWRC is dedicated to encouraging, educating and empowering women seeking positive changes in their lives.
CWRC offers a safe space for all who walk through our doors, providing a trauma-informed environment for education and employability classes, domestic abuse programmes, creative courses and wellbeing activities, together with individual services for practical advice and emotional support.

CWRC facilitates the Freedom Programme and Freedom Forever Programme for women who have been affected by domestic abuse. We listen without judgement and can provide help with housing and homelessness, Foodbank vouchers, access to grants, drop-in advice hubs and a Free Shop for clothes, period products and selfcare essentials.
CWRC helps tackle home, financial and isolation barriers, encouraging a sense of friendship for women in our communities – helping them take steps to a better future for themselves and the families they strive to support.
As a vital grassroots charity established in 1982, CWRC has a rich history of supporting vast numbers of women across the decades. It relies entirely on charitable funding and essential donations to continue its work in Cambridgeshire.
